Worrell family known for "exceptional food quality, service, and excellent ethical business practices"

The Worrell name has been synonymous with "exceptional food quality, food service, and ethical business practices" for over 100 years.  My grandparents Elizabeth and Govan Worrell lived in Virginia all of their lives.  Elizabeth was a faithful, proficient, dutiful wife; a skilled seamstress and mother of thirteen children.  The proud father Govan was a sharecropper, farmer, dentist, minister and shrewd businessman who owned a 200 acre farm in Waverly, Virginia.  Govan managed employees, ministered to the masses, was a loving father wise beyond his years and instilled in his children to always deal ethically in business and life.

Today, many  only know the local grocer in obtaining daily food sustenance.  Back then,  the Worrell farm was the supplier to the  local grocers.  Everything that was in the store was either grown,  raised or made by the Worrell's.

Just to give you an idea of the provisions supplied to commercial exchanges, see partial list below:

Evelyn Worrell, the youngest surviving sibling of the clan continued the legacy of quality food services by working in the industry for over fifteen years.  She went on to become a licensed nurse to learn about how food affects our total health.  Working to help our nations heroes who were military veterans at McGuire Veterans Hospital. To further enhance her understanding of wholistic health, she has served the community as a minister for over 30 years.   This combined experience has equipped this Worrell representative to recognize quality from inception to ingestion; from the farm to the table.

Utilizing Evelyn Worrell as a subject matter expert having over 15 years Food Services & Restaurant Management; 20 years Health & Wellness experience as licensed nurse at veterans hospital, and 30 years as minister of wholistic health & wellness; Worrell's Sweet Life Cafe' can only thrive as it serves the community delicious, nutritious meals in the center city.  As an added bonus, our healthy habits-healthy hearts initiative is right in line with the First Lady Michele Obama Let's Move program already in progress nationwide across the United States of America.

As the daughter of this youngest surviving member of the Worrell family, my goal is to continue the legacy of providing good quality food, fun, and fellowship to the community.

We want to hear from you at Worrell's Sweet Life Cafe' "Life is all about what you make it"
